this item is so easy to use. makes keeping my backups easy to access and reinstall. beats all others hands down

Purchased as a gift for my step daughter. She loves it, says it holds all of her artwork and gaming with no issues.

Good solid drive, but speeds are fairly slow. Also makes a lot of noise. Would use this for casual use but nothing professionally.

8tb of storage at about $150 is great value. It isn't the fastest access ever, but if you don't need real-time read/write, then it works just fine. Great backup solution.

I used this for my kid's Xbox for hard drive storage. It performs flawlessly and has lots of space available in order to install games and add ons.

I bought two of these hard drives to be backups to my photo library. They are easy to setup, run quietly and don't take up much room. Very nice!

omg! this hard drive holds alot of memory. and when i say i have alot of photos, i have 1.3 million photo files. great iteam.

This is my third one I purchased. I have a 2 Gig. , a 4 Gig. , and now an 8 Gig. Very easy to install and have no problems with any of them. Great buy.

No fuss to get up and running. Works as expected and is even quick enough to edit .mov files off of. I'm impressed

You cannot go wrong with WD external drives. This is about my 10th one and have not had one fail yet. Highly recommend.

Great hard drive. Shucks very easily. Got it to replace failed seagate. Have not had a WD go bad yet.

As a content creator, space is limited, and I think this is great for the price! If you work with a lot of big files like 4K video, I recommend it.

Great for consolidating smaller drives so you have less plugged into your computer. Plus less drives to look through when searching for something.

Got this drive to use as a time capsule backup for my old comouter with tons of family photos. This drive did not disappoint Not a bad price for 8tb

Great product for a very good price. However I was unable to connect as an additional hard drive on my network. Works as a stand alone

the unit was 8 TB,actual usable storage 7.5 TB, speed was ok but I only copy 100 GB file a week to it, overall good capacity for the price paid
