I purchased this for my PS4 Pro. Setup was easy and it's fairly quiet when in use. I'll be buying another for my Xbox One X when it comes out in the fall.

runs great. works sporatic if using with another brand external drive. but works great with other western digital

I have 5 of these. They all work great. When you get all the same model, you can move cords from one to another if you need to.

The hard drive is ready to go right out of the box. Its big enough hold thousands of pictures and videos.

with video media sucking down file space, an eight Terabyte hard drive is required. I was able to get a Western Digital drive at a good price.

Good for storing anything from pics to videos , documents, drivers etc

2 months in and so far haven't had any issues. I've completed 2 backups of identical information on 2 of these drives and greatly satisfied.

Never had a problem with My Book external HDs. With 8TB storage this may be the last one I will ever need

Its a good sized external hard drive for backups. I changed my mind about it because of a lack of usb 3. Never got to open the package.
