I wanted to have my pictures available anywhere without taking up space on my phone. This device provides that and a lot more.

The MyCloud unit is a significant addition to my home and business arsenal - I may have to get more. The connectivity from all different devices, as well as remotely is a huge benefit, and it hasn't tripped up yet!!

This seems to be a great product so far ,let's see how long it last.My Seagate GoFlex only lasted a year and half before it kicked the bucket.

Is not foolproof but it gets the job done. The price is right and the software works well. Recommended, especially for the remote access option and ease of automatic backup.

Bought the my cloud external hard drive to back up our 5 computers. It was easy to set up and now we have peace of mind in case of a crash!

Good MyCloud device which offers way more storage than digital, online storage. Sometime drops connection to CPU. Also tends to hang on home screen when moving large size files.

While I think I'm no dummy when it comes to computers and home networking, I did initially have some problems with figuring out exactly how some of the features and folders worked. After the first couple of days I just didn't have something right so I reset it to out of the box setup and started over (that procedure took a long time). So then after getting it set up again and getting to the sticking point with the configuration I wanted, I called tech help for assistance and was walked through the steps I needed to complete the setup. As of now, I'm pleased with it. I just think WD could have had instructions a little clearer.

Very easy to setup, and extremely easy to use. Great way to keep to have access to all your pics without taking up memory on your phone

Product works. Great solution for home nas. Works with Sonos, iTunes and DLNA. Required more time to setup than anticipated. Docmentation is lacking and on-line information is not as helpful as expected. Well worth the effort required.

I love this drive and it was quick and easy to set up. I recommend this drive to anyone that want's to set up their own personal cloud

Very easy to transfer pics straight from a memory card but a little more difficult and time consuming when transferring a lot of pics from a computer. Nice to see pics and documents from many devices.

WD my cloud is easy to install. Just download the app on your computer or phone and connect it on your home router its quick. I got the three TB when it was discounted about 20 more than the two TB version. I wouldn't upload anything unless your on 4g lte or your home router. The mobile app on android is OK needs some work. The mobile app doesn't have a select all to delete what's in the activities and download sectiion you have to keep tapping an tapping on each then delete. Yes its annoying when you want to delete 200 plus pictures from those sections after all the pictures have been uploaded onto the WD.

We saved over 2500 pictures and songs to this and there is still so much room, it's unbelievable. We're glad that we purchase it

The my cloud is a great item for us because we have multiple computers, tv's, and gaming devices that could all use extra storage.

Lots of similar products at similar price points, this was the least expensive. Backs up our office computers fine, easy set up.

It's great being able to access my files from anywhere. Sometimes the program crashes on large files (4GB+). My one complaint would be on premises, when I play music or go to grab files from the myCloud it has an unusually large latency time.

I use the MyCloud as an internal NAS to facilitate the sharing/transfer of files between PC's, laptops, and tablets at home. I don't need or use the mobile (web) access. It works great. I've also attached a 4 port USB hub to connect 2 'My Passports' for additional storage and backups. Setup was easy.

This is pretty well priced for the amount of storage you get but the setup could be a little more straight forward. There are too many different programs and apps for such a simple product.

exactly what I needed, easy to set up and use. Love that it doesn't need to be plugged into my hardware to back up.

I travel a lot for work and with this hard drive I can store everything at home and still watch my movies anywhere.
