It has lots of space but getting it all set up can be tricky. It took me a few days to get it set up with our network and it was running great... for about a month. Now I can "see" it on the network but I can't get anything to go on in via the cloud because it's not stable. Have to hook it up to your computer to get your stuff on there and do the backups. Called tech support and they told me to upgrade the firmware. Didn't help my problem, so yea it's got a lot of storage... when you are able to use it.

After a few weeks of using this storage I am very pleased overall. It is sleek, full of interesting features and affordable. Although it is very easy to step up, the instructions included in the box are minimal so you mighy need some help if you are not tech savvy but once you have it up and running, it works great. The back-up process of my Macbook pro was very smooth although I would recommend to upload large volume of data through an ethernent cable, it might take few hours to do it over wifi depending on your Internet speed. The mobile app for iphone and Android does not have the most polished interface out there buy it works great and allows me to backup my phones and to retrieve information as needed. Overall, it is a great product. Multiple online tutorials for setup are also available in YouTube.

This WD MyCloud was SO easy to set up. Just followed the instructions, downloaded the software, plugged it in and it was done. I absolutely love how simple it is to access my files from anywhere, and free up needed space on my devices.

WD did a nice job with the GUI which makes it pretty easy to set up. Would recommend using either a static IP address or linking to device's MAC address for stability.

Overall a good product and I am very satisfied. The cloud options are great to have. It takes a while to view your files, but it all depends on your internet connection. It is nice that they give you a USB port so you can have a backup drive for your backup. I have had to restart the system a few times after I had tried to access the system through my computer or phone. This was after it had been idle for a few days. Not sure if that is an issue with everyone else, but not a deal breaker. I also like the email notifications if there is a problem with your system. Although if something really critical happens you won't hear a thing, right?

I like that I can get all my files when I'm traveling. Has more than enough room for what I need. It didn't seem the easiest to set up. First time it didn't actually backup my computer had to go back and do it again. For me, not very technically advanced it was a little difficult to set up other users. It seems like there is a maximum of 4 users you can have. But it seems to be doing what I need it to do.

This is a perfect solution for music or data. The only issue is speed. The transfer rate is slow even on the network. Nonetheless, I purchased a second one.
