This NAS was easy to set up and has some nice features with its easy interface. I like that it will send me an email, if I so chose, when it loses power (obviously after power is restored) or network connectivity. It is very fast when paired with my gigabit router. Sure, it's not a RAID, but look at the price.

I'm generally satisfied with the MyCloud device. However, I expected to be able to access files via the cloud much like I do with dropbox. That's not the case for two reasons. First I primarily back up mac computers using mac time machine. The time machine encrypts the files. Therefore I can't access them on other devices. The result is the my cloud device serves as a backup device not as a cloud device. I realize that is not a WD problem, but it's a different outcome than I expected. The second reason is I have not figured out how to automatically backup PC files. I suspect that backing up PC files would be much like using dropbox. But because it's not an automatic backup, I don't use it like dropbox.

The hard drive was easy to set up with multiple devices and easy to download to has tons of storage and all devices can see it would definitely recommend

Great product, now everyone in the house can access the file from the MyCloud. One thing that worries me is how secure is the product?

Good storage and backup for a great price. Great looking product.

Wish there was more instructions that came with the product.

It works great and is user friendly. It could have a better interface, but overall, it's a great addition to my home network.

Had it a month or so and have been able to access with iMac, iPad, iPhone Win10 Laptop and BlueRay DVD player media function.

First cloud drive I bought and it was basically plug and play. Simply to hookup and get going with and the downloadable phone app was easy to hook into for downloading pics taken with my cell phone. I'm in the IT field and WD has been around for many years and is excellent quality.

Everything you need to setup your own Cloud. Easy to setup just as described. Great price. You will be satisfied with its performance.

Great Product that does just what you expect it too. Had another NAS drive (not WD) that crashed after 1.5 years (thanks goodness for backups). WD makes awesome and reliable products. Would definitely recommend.

i wanted something a bit more secure than the cloud. this is the perfect answer and my family can access it as well.

This is a great and easy personal cloud system. I am currently using it to stream movies and music using DLNA. Super low power consumption and super quiet. I also like the fact I can attach a second drive over USB and automatically save "safepoints" to the external drive.

The name MyCloud is a misnomer. This is actually mediaserver and it works pretty well. I highly suggest upgrading your purchase to the larger, dual drive units in order to back up your files. I picked this one over the Seagate model because it has a better app and a better web interface at this point.

I was tired of dealing with Passport drives due to uncertainty. I have yet to transfer all my files to it but I have connected my passport to it and I can access it from anywhere which is a great. Don't have to pay any monthly fees to cloud.

I was only looking for a network connected drive for backup. MyCloud feature is pretty cool. It allows access to content from my iPad and on the web. Easy to setup.

It's not bad so far. Setup is easy. I havent really bothered to get it set up on my phone yet but may do that soon. As far as working on my home network, it's fast and easy. I watch movies from any of my computers while it chills in my living room. I'll nacre to come back and edit after I try the remote features.

Great product. Able create and organize my personal cloud without the headache of anyone breaking in. Easily able to access all my movies,videos and pictures remotely.

Was able to set this dive up and use with both my android and my girlfriends iPhone. The auto backup feature in the android and apple app for the photos is great, no longer have to worry about running out of room on the phone and wondering which photos to delete.
