it doesn't take up much space, can place just about anywhere & easy to use.

I like the idea of having my own cloud functionality that is secure for me.

I love the my cloud. I can put pictures or documents on it from anywhere and I can also pull things off if I need them as well. Truly is easy to use and so glad we have one now! I wish I had bought one sooner!

Purchased due to not feeling secure to use online services. Overall it is difficult to setup, use and understand the documentation. Also it does not have the ability to create a complete backup image like windows backup so you cannot use to restore your system completely. However I was able to retrieve the necessary files when I set up a new computer.

We moved a lot of data from our computers onto the cloud storage to free up space on our computers. It is easily accessible from any internet access. It's great for file sharing among family members too.

It doesn't work well with my Mac. maybe I should've spent a little more and get the time capsule.

Definitely worth the purchase if you're looking to purchase a cloud-based hard-drive or an external hard-drive. Absolutely the best way to securely access your data when you're away from home or the office.

The setup went fairly smoothly but with a few hiccups to overcome to get everything set up the way it needed to be. Product is compact, quiet and with lots of storage available. Cloud feature is so-so. Performance is good but nothing special.

I bought this to sync my home PC with my work PC. It took a little while to work the kinks out - Had to call tech support 2 times. However once I got it up and running it performed great.

I was going to either buy another HD or WD Passport but while thinking about it, the cloud gave me all the benefits I wanted. I was able to free up space from my system HD's while being able to access my data (Doc's, Movies, Pic's and music) from anywhere I have internet access with strong password protection. I would recommend this to anyone that asked me about it

easy to setup and easy to access through any device... I use a pc and iPhone... shows up as a directory in my windows explorer... and the iPhone apps behave like dropbox and OneDrive... great product.

No cloud for Windows 10! Other that pretty easy to use.

I am not a tech guru so I was a little worried but it is easy to set up and now just stores my stuff without having to do anything. Works great and I don't have to pay for cloud!

It was easy to set up with the PC's we have and the Mac computer. I like that we can get an app on our iPhone's and iPad and be able to access all that we have on the device and download items.

This device has worked out well, this week is the first time for me to test out the true cloud ability. Viewing pics away from home and storing new ones to make room for more. Fantastic!

If your camera takes large JPEGS be aware of the how the Twonky DNLA is not comparable. If you choose to display these though your network on a Sony Blue Ray player (Media) onto your HD TV the pictures will be fuzzy until they are reduced in size. Western Digital has no current plans for firmware to correct this and it is not documented.

We needed more space and were concerned we would lose family pictures and important files. Purchasing our Cloud was a great choice for us and we are happy for the extra storage space.
