It works ok but needs to be easier to use. I had to call for support twice due to different issues. My suggestion before you buy is to reasearch it first. I would still have bought it but just know that its not perfect.

Good price and easy to easy with Mac

Was up and running in a matter of 5 minutes. works good for backups and central storage. Is a little too slow for streaming HD. Initial backups took 2 days. If it was faster, it would be almost perfect. I say almost because it locked up once and required a re-boot.

Everything I needed

The drive failed, imprisoning all of my data.

I sent the drive to a professional data recovery firm and they recovered all of the data - for $1200. I don't know that I would recommend the My Cloud to anyone.
