I love having my own cloud that can be accessed from anywhere. Can upload lots of things with ease and access it from anything with WiFi.

Great performance for the price with fast and easy setup.

I love using this device to upload photos from my phone and open up space. It also works great moving things from one computer to another without using other media storage to move it.

Excellent. Using it at work and it is just as advertised. Allows multiple employees to log on and use as our network drive. Remote access and handy app for the phone is very useful.

I hooked the My Cloud up to my router and installed the software on all the computers, tablets, and smart phones in the house and set it up to back up all files on the computers. I set it up to backup photos, videos and music from phones. I can access any information from the other phones or computers that I need from anywhere I have Wi-Fi. Good way to have backup in case something happens to one of your phones or computers.

It's really easy plug and play kind of device I am not tech savy but still was able to set it up without difficulty good value for money and its central storage for data in my house

I love having backup capability in-house so I control and own the data. I love being able to access files remotely when needed. Why pay subscriptions when it is one and done?

really easy to set up, my 3 devices are protected.

I got this so I can access everything remotely and not tie up memory on my phone. The first day or so it worked well and after awhile I kept getting network connection losses. I need to figure out why it's doing it and how to fix so I can always access remotely.

Wow, incredibly easy to set up, basically plug and play. Set up all of our devices so we can access from any device and any where and all devices are backed up on to it.

Easy to install, just plug into your router, follow the directions and download whatever ancillary programs are needed on your other devices that will access the MyCloud.

I like the idea of being in control of my own cloud and knowing where the cloud is, physically. This Cloud is easy to set up and so far has given me no problems at all.

The only downfall of western digital is that they have not worked with apple to make this 100% compatible with time machine. Otherwise, it makes it easy to save memories and store them in the cloud.

Wanted network hard drive for back ups. Faster than usb version. Documentation can sometimes be confusing. Especially for making private folder or user. But got it figured out. You can't be logged in twice to My Cloud, only public or private. I turn it off when not using via dashboard, Overall satisfied.

This was easy to see up and use. I copy from ipads, pcs, etc easily and am able to access remotely as well. Great product.

The drive works, its easy to install, but transferring items too it can be slow. Keep in mind this drive stores your data/files on a NAS drive. Which means you cannot just take out the hard drive and put it in your PC if you have a mishap. Mine BRICKED and allowed no access to my data. all my family photos and movies are hopefully still there... but now I have to pay money for WD to extract it...

Bought it as my three internal hard drives were close to capacity. Increased my storage capacity and allowed me to access files directly on my home network via the internet. Pretty easy to set up and use.
