I purchased this to be able to store files and access on the go. For that it works well, but setting it up was a lot of work, multiple calls to tech support. Setup and user friendliness of interface stinks.

For a home network the setup was quick and simple. File transfers were uneventful (as they should be). There was a small issue with setting up remote access, but a software patch corrected that problem.

I had a larger raid NAS completely die on me and quickly needed to find a replacement. I read reviews on this unit and liked everything it could do. It works perfectly will all devices, iphones,android,mac,pc,etc. I like the additional feature of having a backup drive attached to the unit and doing backups to it. This allows me to easily backup everything on the NAS device.

I like it. However, the setup should be just plug and play. It really isn't and the network it sets up once you find the right path seems to chew bandwidth or rearrange your IP addresses.

Im still working on this and adding pictures to it but its great and was very easy

Great hard drive. Hold tons of data and has been working fine so far. It is nice to be able to access it anywhere on the network. Adding an additional usb HDD is a nice plus.

Works great for group storage in the office. It goes to sleep if not used for awhile. So the delay for it to fire back up is annoying but other than that it is a Great product.

WD cloud is a great item and easy to use. Has auto backup and works fast.

I had Best Buy transfer the contents of both our home computers to this as we moved from PC's to Mac's. So far so good. Our new systems see this remote HD and it's been very handy.

Very happy with the performance so far and would highly recommend.

I was misinformed about doing a personal cloud and the item works as it as designed but it's designed and works fine just no use to me .. Should have done my home work better.
