Device works great. WD software is an added bonus.

Easy to set up and seems to be working fine so far.

It has a ton of memory but it’s a hassle that you can’t just connect it to your personal computer and just transfer files over like any ordinary file storage equipment. With this one you have to literally be on WiFi the whole entire time. Which sucks in my opinion.

It would appear that this is a normal NAS unit - it's NOT it integrates with there online services it behaves in a completely different way. Real pain .. returned very inconvenient, purchased the regular local version so if you want an NAS server for home use look elsewhere.

I was excited to use my personal home cloud to clear files on my computer. You cannot upload folders, it changes the file to it's "proprietary" version of the app. Also, it randomly stopped working and I could not access my files.

Couldn't get the first one to work, even had the Greek Squad log into my machine. They told me something must be wrong with the drive, take it back. I did, the new one did the exact same thing, I returned it for a refund.

The software to operate is not user friendly. Having problems with making backups and knowing that they are there on the system. I allowed the sales person in the store to know what was best for me; wrong decision on my part.

MY CLOUD HOME; the Best Buy stores should stop selling these units! Nothing but a huge migraine headache. The unit overheats all the time. The software to set up is a nightmare. Should have read comments on Amazon about this unit, I would have saved a chunk of money. Not using mine anymore. Trying something else now; "Wavlink"

I bought thinking it would work seamlessly with time-machine, but it tries to force the MyCloud software for use instead. So, if you want it to work as a strictly "time machine backup"- it'll take some fiddling.

Could not easily get software to work. After several attempts by support group to fix, I took it upon myself to reload windows 10, losing some files, but that solved the problem

I thought it would be simple to use ...not ...3 weeks.later I tossed it back in box and on the floor it sits .Waste of. Tme. Money and Excitement ...

Store and reviews say work with dish network vip722. It does not!!

It stopped working after about 3 weeks. I should have bought the warranty.

If you are looking for all access NAS drive ... well it won't work like that ... I don't know what the idea of this drive but IMHO they getting your email and your friends email (yes - you share your drive over email address ) for free. You cant setup this drive as a pass protected or partially open NAS ... You need a software to access !!!! can you imagine ? you cant use your browser or file explorer aka finder. This is a product i don't really understand of its meaning.

Hard to figure out how to backup. Also challenging to access to copy files for use on the cloud. Could be lack of documentation or just my inexperience.

This would be a great device for a home user, no so for business use. Cannot access the device directly, internet only.

Returned to store. Photo auto saved in multiple folders, (Photo folder, by date folder, most recent folder, etc

Im very disappointed with this product! Said I could use as dvr for plex no way returned

Never got this to work properly. Poor Apple Time Machine integration. Would eventually reach capacity because older backups would not be deleted as scheduled. Additional features are not worth paying for. Where is the third party replacement for the Apple Time Capsule?

Good hardware, but the software is terrible. I returned it.
