got this for my wife who takes tons of pictures on her phone. downloading was becoming a pain. this can be set up to back up as soon as you take the picture, love it. only problem now is having to remind the wife to delete her pics from her phone.

Like all memory sticks, it holds memory. I recommend this product.

I love this My Cloud Home 2TB Personal Cloud storage device. I can access it by wi-fi from my Windows 10 laptop, iPhone and iPad. If you’re filling up the storage available on your devices, this is a wonderful home or small business solution.

Purchased to use w google Wifi as a time capsule alternative. Mac back up works well, and the hard drive comes with an app allowing you to access files on any windows or Mac, iPad or iPhone devices from anywhere. Highly recommend!

This drive has a modern look, subtle light, and very quiet operation. The web connected portion allows me to connect to it from each of my devices via the network. I essentially have my own private iCloud. Very useful.

Works well, but not as I intended. The old MyCloud had functionality I was expecting in the newer model. Should have read up on it more BEFORE purchase... Cannot stream media, however it is kind of useful for phone camera backups.

Very easy to use and easy to set up. Correct amount for 2 TB

We have difficulty knowing how to use this. Perhaps a younger person who is technically savvy would have no problems. It works well, but I have trouble finding the exact photos and organizing what I want.

This is a perfect hard drive for home use if you have the need to access your content remote. It seamlessly allows me to view and upload content from anywhere with the app or from the website.

Not exactly what I hope for. I wanted to have my own cloud drive (like google drive) this one does not work like I wanted

I love this personal cloud to back up everything we have on computers at home. I recommend this to everyone for its price and capabilities.

Works as advertized. It could have had more documentation in with the drive. It is versatile, but I had to search WD's website to get it all set up.

This device is best for non complicated data backups and not intended to be used as a full NAS system. The app for desktop and phone platforms (both iOS and android) is very good

Wanted to get photos off mine and my wife’s phone. This little machine does what it says it does. I can send photos to it from anywhere as long as I have internet.

Apple Airport that I had before, conflicted with my DSL about once every 2 weeks and would not backup until I reset it. This WD-My Cloud has worked great.

This is a very good idea, the product works fine, sometimes quits but itself and is not available to transfer data from your laptop or computer directly by using and usb2 male to male cable. So it relies only on the internet, not convenient due to the lack of speed, data transmission, and accessibility (large files or large data). -They need to make this product functional, is not yet for a person who needs to do a large backup from the computer. - They need to make it reliable in the way normal people do manage data, no just cool decorative device.

I tried several on line clouds and all worked but when I read about the WD personal cloud I was impressed bought it and am now more than impressed.
