Bought this to do Windows disc image backups for security purposes. Worked perfectly and has enough capacity to store multiple images.

Plug and play upgrade for my Xbox One. All I had to do was plug it in and follow and on screen instructions; took less than 5 minutes.

This portable notebook 2.5” hard drive is way faster on USB3.0 than I ever expected. The drive’s sustained transfer speed sometimes is faster than my USB3.0 flash drive. I have observed the drive’s read/write speed depends upon the host computer’s bus speed. On faster computer USB3.0 busses Windows claims this drive is moving 150MB/sec. That would be fast compared to USB2.0 standards but average file sizes have ballooned in recent history so that tempers the speed boost.

I thought I had lost all of my information but due to My Passport ITB External USB was a life saver for me and my family.

This external hard drive has been great! Easy to install and use. I do a lot of crafting and I put my projects on this.

I love this item but I was mi-informed by someone at the Best Buy Geek Squad about how easy it wa to use this model with my Mac desktop. He told methat it would automatically recognize that the external hard drive was being used on a MAC system and then just ask if i wanted to do automatic backups. It was not that easy and I had to phone in and get step by step instructions on how t install id to work with my MAC.

I use numerous external hard drives when working on digital forensic examinations. WD hard drives have always performed the best for me!

I previously owned two other WD external storage drives but needed extra storage. WD drives are portable and easy to use.

I needed some extra storage in a hurry to backup a computer, so I grabbed this one at BB. It filled all my needs and continues to do so.

Without this drive I would have lost all my data . Thanks to Geek squad for their advise.This device works both on Mac and pc

Use drive to backup monthly to restore files if ever needed. Great product WD makes. Have great success with these external drives.

I got this to add storage to my ps4 it works great didnt have to format it on a computer did it all on ps4 no hastle very happy with it
