Not good for older Operating systems

Purchased in spite of a warning about the possible need to reformat, computer migration was critical, and other manufacturers drives were not available. The data needed to be moved ASAP. Built-in install didn't work on XP., I had to manually intercede and reformat the drive. Really don't see the need for the limiting startup. Simple formatted drive would allow direct use by any windows computer with a USB. It worked fine after reformat.
