Purchased this to try to salvage any files possible. I was able to recover about 90% of what I wanted, which still saved me months of work to recreate those documents, plus old tax returns and pictures.

A Life Saver!

They were able to recover all of the data on the HD & transfer it to this external HD. Almost 20 years of business data! I would highly recommend this product.

Works with mac

Works great. Only draw back is it only works for mac or pc. Can not go back and forth between my two different computers. So I bought one for my mac and one for my pc. Maybe it can be used on both at same time. I don't know how.
