    I would give it a 5 star but my mom had some questions about it that I couldn't answer from a distance. I purchased this because my daughter (a college student) has the same item and is very happy with it.

    It is a fair external hard drive. The software is a little awkward. it's intention for using it to back-up a computer is just so-so.

    Purchased to use as NAS. Received in small box padded with air pillow. Rattled all over inside of box. Shoddy packaging. Let's hope it works. Recommendation needs a third option... "No Opinion."

    Worked fine. Make sure your computer supports USB 3.0 before buying as this is not backward compatible to 2.0.
