I store pictures and videos on my passport. This size ( 1 T B) works well for me since it saves just enough items of subject matter in one place

The WD - My Passport 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive was a great purchase in order to keep my information safe and reachable at any time.

I give this Portable Hard Drive 4 stars because it took a little longer than expected to format as compared with other portable drives I've used. I would recommend it and would buy again since the price was right and the performance was as expected.

Works great with out breaking the bank. Transferred all files off of my laptop and still have over half of memory left.I am going to get another one for sure

Used this to rip my 400+ CDs to FLAC files. I have it hooked to my router to stream to various devices. Works well and responds to requests quickly.

Not much to say here, Western Digital remains to be one of the most reliable manufacturers of external and internal hard drives. Love the new design as well.

You can never run out of storage specially when the whole family its been taken thousands of pictures with their cellphones.

I Needed more space for gaming. And it works great.

So far so good. It holds plenty of data and pics. Time will tell with these type devices but for now it does what it says it will do.

The portable hard drive is great for storing all the extra stuff on my laptop, primarily photos and articles I write. Definitely worth the price.

This product worked better than I expected. It provided extra space for my Xbox, and I appreciate the bue indicator to let you know it's working at all times.

it was gift for my brother on his birthday. he was very happy now he is able to store all his files and pics.

My machine is using a Vista 64bit operating system with a USB 2.0 port. I was looking for an external hard drive to backup all my programs and files. This Passport drive is backwards compatible so it works on my system and, when I upgrade, it can be used on the new OS too. The installation was intuitive (just like inserting a thumb drive), easy and worked perfectly. I messed up when disconnecting the drive and had trouble reconnecting, so I called user support. While on the phone with them, they walked me through reconnecting and everything is fine. Great product and great support.

all my information was backed up successfully. My laptop wasn't working and I had no access to my pictures. Now I can see everything on my desktop

I have bought these for downloading games for my grandchildren. They are very happy and do not have to have so many games downloaded on there PS4's

I wanted a portable drive to hold pictures that I wanted to save. I was able to easily use this device & transfer files and all wanted pictures from the computer. I would recommend this 1 terabyte device for safe storage of files off computer.

I bought this on sale to backup an old computer that's hard drive was crashing. It stored everything and with plenty of left over space.

I needed a external hard drive for my Xbox one but wasn't looking for an over priced one like the brand's pacifically made for Xbox this one works perfect
