I read a lot of reviews and decided to go with WD my passport. It’s been awesome. I drag/drop, not backup, and it works perfectly for that.

Same drive but blue since BB was out of Black. Purchased to backup PC files. 1TB for $59.99 isn't bad at all and a pretty cheap 'Insurance' policy.

Purchased to store files and pictures. I love that I can lock it with password. I highly recommend for large documents, music and pictures.

This device was simple to install and very easy to use as a storage device. I am very satisfied with this piece of equipment.

I have a lot things that I needed to save and my laptop was getting overload, so I purchase a TB drive for more space and Love it.

My Dad, age 95 has a zillion digital photos, now we know he can find them even if something happens to his computer. Easy for him to use too.

I purchased the Western Digital - "My Passport 1TB External USB" to backup files and pictures I have stored on my laptop. I didn't use the full backup option. In just opened two windows and dropped and dragged my files from my laptop to the WD Passport. Very fast rate of copying. Unbelievable! I transferred over 1,000 pictures and numerous files and I barely made a dent in the used space on the drive. I still have 95% free. I highly recommend this product! P.S. Make sure you open the install file on the WD Passport and install the software on your device.

I am flabbergasted that a tiny rectangle can store years of info on it. It’s doing it’s job working like it was souposed to.

Really very durable considering I dropped it a few times. But it didn’t affect the performance in anyway shape or form

It was really easy to connect this Hard Drive to my PC and have it do automatic backups each day. The software options are easy to follow.

When I had best buy back up my data they did it to this external hard drive and it was able to hold all my data and still have room on it.

Use it for my Xbox cause I needed space I’m so glad I bought it. I can definitely store more games on my Xbox now

Olivia helped me with this purchase initially. And then I came back with second appt and Clayton helped me. Both of these reps were very helpful. I had turned in an old XP to.be recycled and then came back to see if any pictures were on this old computer and they were not able to be found. This old thing had been through the wringer. They handed me the meat of the computer- like I know anything about it..I'm just glad to have the rest of it recycled!
