You should always back up your your computer with the best hard drive you can get or you will regret it if you loose valuable information.

After having two seagate externals go bad on me, I decided to switch to WD. No problems since and will never purchase another brand.

This was recommended by the Geek Squad people when I handed over my poor MacBook and new Air. I'm very happy with the product and the price!

I don't use the installed software, but it was easy to reformat and use for time machine. So far it is working well.

I set a lot of these drives up for use as Time Machine backups on Macs. They come formatted for PC. I use Apple's Disk Utility to format them for Mac. I prefer Toshiba drives but Best Buy no longer sells them in stores, at least where I live.

I take a lot of pictures and have had one too many computers crash on me so I bought this hard drive. So far it has been great!

This is my second WD passport. I have one for each of our laptops. It is small so it can be stored in an out of the way place when not in use.

Hooked up and loaded easily and I WAS ABLE TO MOVE THE FILES FROM THE COMPUTER TO THE EXTERNAL DRIVE AND ERASE THEM FRM THE COMPUTER.

It was included with the package, so I think that it’s a good product.
