I needed to hand off my files while I was on vacation from my laptop incase I lost them this came in very handy

I replaced a back up hard drive that was large with this one. It is small, but holds more than the old large one I had.

Plugged right in and formatted quickly by my DVR+. Works like a champ for timeshifting OTA programming.

I love this item but I was mi-informed by someone at the Best Buy Geek Squad about how easy it wa to use this model with my Mac desktop. He told methat it would automatically recognize that the external hard drive was being used on a MAC system and then just ask if i wanted to do automatic backups. It was not that easy and I had to phone in and get step by step instructions on how t install id to work with my MAC.
