I swear by Western Digital Passport drives. In this case I got one that may have had a few issues as it wouldn't mount properly and then dismounted from my MacBook Pro on it's own. I returned it. I got another one and now it is smooth sailing. It's a bit heavier than I would like and I like the rounded edge design of prior drives but the weight and shape change was merely to make it sturdier and longer lasting. Exceptionally pleased with this Western Digital Product.

I am not a technophobe and understand very little about programming or connecting devices. I only upgrade devices about once every 8 - 10 years; or when one crashes. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I purchased this hard drive to back up all the info on a desktop that I was replacing. All my trepidation was eliminated as soon as I plugged in the USB cord and pop-up menus walked me through the process. Very easy to use and considering purchasing another.

Nice plug and play HD. i'm using this for my PS4. it was easy to set up and i have no problems with it. it's tiny and priced really well. The HD feels solid and well made.

I purchased this unit after doing some research. It is small and seemingly well designed and comes in a variety of colors. It is also USB 3.0 so backups or file transfers are incredibly fast. I went back and purchased another one based on my experience with the first. I highly recommend!!

Has so much storage. I don't think I will ever fill it up all the way. Easy to use for storage. Nice small size makes it easy to carry

I’m using this compact hard drive as back up for my PS4, and it seems to work great thus far. It fits slimly next to my gaming system and works seamlessly.

Instead of paying $10 per month or more (that's $120 btw) for cloud storage, you could spend $50 or less and back up a terabyte of data on this external hard drive. I've been using Western Digital products (My Passport) for almost two decades and I've never had one fail on me yet. If you toss your hard drives around, they will develop problems. Handled correctly, they'll last for years and so will your data. Another advantage is that you don't need the internet to backup your hard drive. I have close to a hundred movies, over ten thousand albums and two decades worth of writing with room to spare. A terabyte can hold a lot.

I purchased this for extra storage on my PS4, was easily formatted to my PS4, and provided extra storage effortlessly! Small and very compact. This met my expectations.

Have never had an issue. Sleek design, portable, durable; but, I do not recommend dropping or throwing. Plenty storage for family of 4.
