My Passort external hard drive with encryption has been a wonderful addition to the preservation and protection of my important information.

Bought for a coworker to store her pics of her newborn. Standard USB 3.0 ensures fast transfers with correct PC ports.

You get what you pay for. Woth that said no regrest. Sturdy build, plug and play and fast copy speed.

I am using this without the enclosed software so I can't comment on the backup ability. However, I copy files from another My Passport with no trouble quickly.

I use this drive for a secure back up of all my files, photographs and music. I have not had any problems. It is attached to a windows based computer.

My Seagate went out after 2 years, so I decided to switch brands. This WD is the best size for the price both physically and storage wise.

I'm always glad to have an external back up. This one is a very good choice for the money.

I am using it to store all my files and pictures separate from my computer. It works fast and has much more capacity then I will ever need.

It does what its suppose to do. The cable also doesn't get jammed when I'm trying to pull it out. I haven't had any issues. I plan on buying another.

I bought this to help with the constant flow of games on my Xbox and this device has quickly transferred my games to their device with no problem

I have been a gamer since I received the original Game Boy and Nintendo. My Playstation 4 does not have adequate storage so I had to purchase this device.

This was a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it. It's perfect for what he's trying to accomplish with his A+ certification classes.

The accompanying software fails consistently to install. Several hours wasted researching and retrying to install the software… just to find out the software supplied with the device does not work and is no longer supported by the vendor… The device without functioning software make this an over priced jump drive… I’m very disapointed…..

So far it’s a good product. Been using this for about a year. The only problem I had was opening stuff from apple laptop. But i fixed it.

Fast and smooth saving and opening files. Great choice.

The only problem I have with this hard drive is that the case is not as thick, tough or as well built as the models before it. The case is very thin and has the feel of a cheap case that will split open if you drop it.
