This is an excellent portable hard drive. It is very reliable and fast, and very small too. I use it to back up all of my data, and I can take it anywhere for safe keeping.

Small, quiet, cool and does encryption. 2TB's is a good size for backups or specific data files. My prior 1TB lasted 4 years.

Its larger than it looks because it has 2TB storage in a small package. Handy, reliable and easy to use. I have always technically preferred WD for all my store requirements!

The need for larger backup files continues to require larger external backup drives. These 2 TB units are simple to set up and run as a Mac time machine backup. Lightweight, thin, yet durable.

This is highly recommended when you have a bunch of pictures or videos you need to store, very convenient and easy to set up, although transferring files is a bit slow, but it is a hard drive. Very useful as a storage saver.

I have brought this portable hard because my gaming laptop only 500GB and this was my first time using a Portable Hard Drive, however, this is way better then I expected it can play most major PC games on your computer and laptop such as Fortnite, Ark Survival Evolved, GTA5, Destiny 2, Phantasy Star Online 2, and more and it doesn't just store your games, it can store your music, videos, and more, I also like to give credit to western digital for this amazing purchase it really helps me with my Youtube channel.

Love the ease of use and size. I purchased the 2TB external hard drive for my several thousand pictures from many years past. I do enjoy working with this piece of equipment.

Western Digital product reliability, price for storage capacity. It was on sale $10 off/$5 more for double storage. I'm pretty sure the best buy brand HDD is WD too.

I needed a new hard drive to store my photos, movies, and documents. This seems to have good speeds and has more than enough space for what I need. Easy to reformat to exFAT.

Well, let me tell you - I had some digital files and I didn't know where to put them. Can't fit 'em in a shoe box. Can't fit 'em in my truck. Can't fit 'em in my fish tank with my little fishy "Sir Swims' A-Lot". But, I CAN fit them in my brand spankin' new WD My Passport 2TB External drive! Yes sir, this sucker works! Thank you, Western Digital. You did me a solid.

I was looking for a 2 TB external hard drive at a reasonable price and Western Digital was a perfect fit. This drive is very small and light and holds a ton of data. Highly recommended.

Works great. Easy to use. The current iteration of this device is a bit smaller and slimmer than its predecessors. Nice product.

Perfect portable hard drive. I was able to upload all my files and still have room for more. I found it easy to retrieve the files as well.

The storage is huge compared to how small it is (even smaller than the size of my palm). Plus, it's so light, unlike my old Transcend hard drive....

I transferred 20 videos from my VCR’s to the computer. Then I transferred the videos from the computer to the passport. It held 45 hrs of videos!! Very satisfied!!
