Good TBs, weak design

Took only a few VERY small falls/hits and it doesnt work anymore. If your buying this, make sure to keep to keep it steady/accidently hit it.

Tried Seagate and resulted unreliable, prone to fails, HORRIBLE and Unacceptable Customer Support, Hidden, deceiving and shaming return policies. Had Seagate lasting within deceiving Manufacturing warranty, stopped running locking thousand of of my photo collection. I worked in IT for years and never had problems with WD products. Do yourself a favor have a couple of WD and make duplicates backups,,just in case one fails.

This was listed in that category. However, no where on the item description did it say it was a sdd, and that is my fault for not being more careful. Ended up buying it and when I first used it to my surprise it was just a traditional hard disk drive. It wasnt a massive let down being as this is fairly affordable and again I should have noticed for the price it was too good to be true. Now to the actual product; it works pretty well for a 2.5" drive. It loaded my games fairly fast and read/write was fairly decent as well. The built in software works great too... During the covid 19 crisis and everyone working from home, portable storage is almost impossible to find locally which was also a battle to find one in stock anywhere. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for affordable storage on a budget.

It has good safety features to prevent others from accessing without your permission. It's small and very travel ready. So far I'm very happy with it.
