    Bought this to back up the hard drive on my MacBookPro 2019 using Time Machine. Formatted out of the box- great. The first try stalled so I had to re-initiate the backup after a couple hours in. The backup took nearly 24 hours which seems slow. I haven't tried retrieving data yet. Wish there was an 'I don't know' option for purchase recommendation.
