After waiting and waiting and waiting for a backup to finish on my desktop I decided to get one of these. Backup is now finished. I would be still waiting if I did not buy this MUCH faster drive.

This has been one of my favorite storage purchases in a long time. It does what it suppose to do. It holds all of my files, especially my graphics, with ease. Plug, load & go on about your business.

This portable drive works great right out the box. Just plug it in it works, no fancy work arounds. Also I was able to password protect the drive with little effort with the app that's included.

Every aspect of this purchase was awesome. It arrived early and it was all there. Every dvd played like it should and I got it at an unbelievable price. Thank you Best Buy!

Needed a solution to back up my old computer but wanted portability. Seems like life is moving so quickly forward and the desktops are outdated every year. This unit works as advertised and I have no issues.

THIS EXTERNAL DRIVE SOLVED ALL MY STORAGE PROBLEMS AS IF USE VERY LARGE FILES

I’ve always used WD passports external drives. My old WD was slowing down somewhat and replaced it with this kind. I am glad I did, as it complimented my XPS computer, it is fast and smooth.
