    If you need to transfer, or backup, digital files and you don't want to use the cloud these external drives are the perfect solution. Small enough to easily carry and work with. The interface is Micro-USB Type B and the drive has the capability for data encryption and password protection.

    Easy to use, self powered. Prior versions have run for years without issues. This comes in a good choice of colors so its easy to differentiate it from other drives. I use it the rsync the user data and the App Data that Best Buy Geek Squad won't backup when they do work. Just plug it in, it draws power from the USB interface.

    I purchase this to save all my pictures. docs anything imported (but I also save them on cloud too as a back up). I've had it for over a yr now & no problems at this time. although I use it very rarely, mainly back up my data ones every 3 months. its a good hard drive I would recommend it only if you cannot afford a SSD hard drive instead. SSD hard drives are more reliable, fast transfer rate & longer lasting, from what I have read in the reviews.
