WD 2TB passport HD with 256 bits AES Hardware encr

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to the prior generation of Western Digit passport with 256 bits AES hardware encryption, this portable hard driver is way thinner and light weight. With 2TB (around 1.81TB actually), you’ve got plenty of backup space. For additional $10, you can get the Passport Ultra version from Best Buy, but they are pretty similar except for the USB interface. The cool thing is that it comes with a free one year cloud subscription.

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The device works perfectly and can be used on xbox, ps4 pc and Mac however you will not get the full 2tb when I plugged mine in it said that I had 1.6tb available, tried formatting it and still the same, that's 400gb that I can't use on the device I understand that some is needed to be used by the system to make it run etc but not nearly half a terabyte

A Very Good Product. Needed to back up some important data from my computer. Never can tell with a computer when it will crash and lose all your data. Thank You.

Perfect multi-use storage device

Re-formatting this was quick and easy, and have had no issues (knock on wood) with data transfer. Cost is significantly less than a marketed Xbox external HDD.
