Good for Chromebook.

This external hard drive is compatible with Chromebook, not all are. I am pleased to report that the recipient is pleased.

Great for storage

And I was right. It’s worth every penny. Fast for backup, super light, and the design is nice.

Worked out of the box, able to encrypt

It is a spin drive so you do have to be careful not to jostle it especially when it is in use. I would buy another one if needed.

Easy to use for backups

I purchased it to upgrade to current technology, having appreciated a backup in the past to which I had to restore after a hard drive crash. Well worth the peace of mind!

First one 7 years ago and still going strong with all my data intact. Now they are both almost full and going for my 3rd but I still back up all my data in the cloud. So far, so good.

I was able to leave my computer and hard drive for prompt back up but have not checked to see how it came out.
