Great Mac TimeMachine Device

I have a pair and they work well as a Mac TimeMachine backup target that I alternate. I also have a second pair that I use as my photo library primary and duplicate backup. Over the years I have been very satisfied with Western Digital products.

Has a lot of options and feature that were initially overwhelming for a non-IT expert. Wish it had better, more simple instructions on how to set up routine automatic backups. But, after watching some YouTube videos its was fairly easy to figure out; and once initially done it is fairly straightforward after that.

The colors are fun and I trust the brand. I would purchase again.

I have no complaints about this product. The price point is usually always reasonable and the capacity, for what I need it for is generally just enough (well, until I need another one). However, this gets the job done if all you are looking for is additional storage to free-up space on your personal laptop or to transfer material from your cloud(s) services.

My Passport 2TB External Hard Drive - useful/easy

This external hard drive does exactly what I want it to do - it allows me to back up various folders and subfolders from my computer so that if there is an issue on that machine I will have the various documents, photos, etc. backed up on this external drive. I am happy with the purchase and consider it a fairly inexpensive way to insure that I do not lose important items stored on my desktop.
