This unit was for storage of downloaded movies that were to be consolidated from several different areas. The unit was familiar because I already had several and this new one performed very well for what I intended. I am very pleased with its performance.

I had a WD last me little more than 16 years and is still kicking hoping this would do the same

I recently purchased the WD My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive in Red and so far, I'm really happy with my purchase. One of the main pros of this hard drive is that it allows me to keep my data safe by storing it off of my computer. With 2TB of space, I have plenty of room for all of my photos, files, and data. It's also great that the hard drive doesn't need its own power supply, which makes it even more portable. So far, I haven't encountered any cons with this hard drive. It's been a reliable and convenient way to store and access my data on the go.

I have used the various versions of WD Passports for over 10 years and traveled the world with them. Always has worked. This model continues the transition of reliable and rugged. I primarily use them for backup drives.

We bought this for our daughter for Graduate school. She love it and how much space it has.

This is a great hard drive. I have used Western Digital for years because of there dependability. It loads fast and transfers quick. I also like how small it is, at only 4in. x 3in. Easy to stow away in my laptop computer bad.

This small portable hard drive is a great tool. Holds an immense amount of data (2TB) and loads very fast.

works with hd or ssd so very useful if working on linux laptops as i used it with linux and it worked great

Needed a new USB disk for "static" backup purposes for my Mac. This is the backup to my time machine disk that does automatic update backups every hour. It was formatted for Windows - but I erased all that and the WD software and reformatted for Mac (with ability to use it on a Windows machine). You don't need to get a MAC formatted disk and this one was on sale which made it very attractive. It take a bit of time to backup over 1 TB as I don't have a fast USB connection, but doesn't need to be done often as its use is in the event of catastrophic failure of the other system components. I've had several WD disks through the years and hope this one is as good.

Great product. Small with large capacity, convenient for travel. This is 5th WD drive I've purchanced for various file backups.

Works great with xbox series x. To hold your older xbox one/xbox 360 games. No issues what so ever. Also you can use two drives as well. No delays when gaming xbox one/360 games from the drives

I love my portable external hard drive! It is just about two years and I am still enjoying it. I continue to store all my Photo Shoots without any problems. I absolutely love this product!

Bought this as an external hard drive for my Playstation 4. Setup was very easy and quick, there are enough guides online if anyone has trouble. Now I have way more space for my games. Curbside pickup service was excellent as well.

Easy to organize my files and free up some computer space. Works great and fast, I dont think I'll ever fill up all 2Tbs! Great amount of storage for the price! Even comes with a cloud storage service.

Works great and is compatible with my M1 Mac andI have had no issues with it at all, however it is a little pricey compared to other external drives with the same amount of storage space.
