This hard drive was so small it shocked us when we picked it up. We’ve had no issues with it. It also doesn’t require a power cord unlike our last one which ended up lost.

This passport external USB is an excellent product I would recommend it to any and everyone it is very very useful makes my life easier and work ethic has improved greatly

I have used WD passports for a long time. I always wait to get them on sale. I use a ton for backing up my data and have found them the most reliable for me.

I had just purchased a new MacPro and needed a new back-up. The Passport couples with the Mac. No steps to activate. Plug the Passport in and it starts backing up!

Purchased this about the first of May 2022. The three software apps that are included on this, when you plug and play, will not load. Had to take it into Geek Squad to get it figured out. Turns out western digital does not support the apps that are preloaded on these anymore. You have to download an external app, which you would not know without doing a lot of research. The unit itself works great once that was all figured out. But initially, it was a nightmare.

You have to adjust the settings in order for it to communicate with iOS, but you can easily google how to do that and afterwards it worked great has plenty of storage.

It was easy to set up and it's easy to use. It did take me a minute to find out how to format it for both Mac and PC, but that's hardly the product's fault.

Awesome product! This device holds more info than I can ever imagine inputting! It does what it is supposed to do and so much more! We love it!

I have gopro camera and I downloaded all my videos and photos in this passport 2 TB . It fits all of them and has more space to add more videos. It’s worth it.

Bought for use with a Mac. Requires software download to use, able to secure with password. Once up and running storage is easy, most hassle I've had with first using an external storage device, but functions normally after.

I've purchased this in the past. Works well as external portablr hard drive backup. It will give me an extra 2TB storage for my computer to extend more storage.

The passport itself sees good, but the downloads are very confusing. It turns out that WD is no longer updating its software, so they are contracting with another partner, but none of that is clear to the end user unless you call.
