Whenever I need storage I can always count on WD and so far this external HDD has been my go to whenever I need to store critical files and also I needed encryption which is the main reason I got this product. Any external HDD that has hardware encryption is a MUST because security is so important as you do not want anyone to see your important files. Only thing that might concern me is the caddie as its a hard plastic somewhat reasonably stable but with any HDD you must be gentle with it because of the platters and spin header so make sure to be careful with it.

Best Buy Rep told me it would work, and it did! I was replacing a much older model that wouldn’t update. Best Buy Reps are the best!

Bought this strictly for expending my ps4 memory space. Pretty much just plugged it in, easy reformat and boom, been running good since.

Sure it isn't SSD but still very fast read and write and small format. Thinking of picking up another for the spare xbox to install more games.

I wanted another storage device as my old one was getting full. I did have a hiccup where the hard drive stopped working and became unusable. After exchanging it for a new one I had no problems. It does what it’s supposed to.

This has tons of storage for all of my pictures of my kids. If you need one area for all your pictures to be this is the way to go

WD makes a very good product. I purchased this Passport 2TB Portable Hard Drive for my Grandson, whom is starting College this year. I told him it is probably more memory than he will need for the rest of his life, but time will tell. I purchased this model because it could be password protected, in case he want to do that.

Fantastic, easy to carry and use. Never overheats or freezes and always usable. Very fast and quick to load any files loaded.

Works great with my Xbox One. It was very easy to set up. I just had to plug it in to my USB and the Xbox walked me through the steps to get started.

Purchased a new gaming computer for my son. had a list of things he wanted to transport from his old computer. A friend told me to just pick up one of these and save and transfer. I'm by no means a savvy computer guru but this was so easy to use it made me look like an expert! Small, easy, and can fit in your shirt pocket!

I would not work on my older computer so returned. If it had worked I would have kept it. I plan to purchase one for my new laptop.

It saves data for me. It is red which makes it a higher quality product, which is why it costs more than the blue one but not as much as the black one. But I suppose the color makes it faster at storing data. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
