I always have that issue of game space on my Xbox, especially with the Game Pass. No complaints as there's so much great stuff. Here's where the WD drive shines! It's extremely easy to plug into one of the USB ports, a few seconds to format and ready to go. Yes, this 2TB drive isn't quite 2TB as there has to be the drivers, software, etc, but it runs smoothly, quiet and does it's job. They'll go on sale often (all their various sizes) so keep and eye and grab one when needed. Plus usually free shipping or free in store pickup.

When my laptop suddenly started acting up, I realized how much I stood to lose: almost two decades worth of my pictures, music, work, receipts, my life wrapped up in a little silver box. This tiny red box, as it turns out, is a pocket sized savior. Quick data transfer, tons of headspace, and easy to connect and use. It saved my data, I think I’ll end up picking up a couple more for backup backups. Can never be too sure.

The hard drive is plug n play. I use it every day and have had no problems. It is fast, just as fast as the computer's solid state hard drive.

I bought this external hard drive because my desktop crashed. I wanted the piece of mind of having an additional external drive to backup everything besides the desktop after a new hard drive was installed. The price wasn't bad either. I feel a little more at ease using it every day. I know they can go bad too but so far I have had good luck with it and have plenty of space on it. It loads fast and I back up everything even though I save it to my new hard drive. I don't want to go through that again.

ive only had this for a day but compared to other external hard drives this one is the slimmest smallest i have. its about 1/4th the size of the older model passports. the actual memory size is 1.81 tb. and it comes formatted as ntfs. i will most likely try to use fat32formatter to convert it to fat32 so it will work on my tv and playstation3 to play video files. one thing that concerns me us when i plug the usb chord into the top it has a flexibility up and down to it. im not sure if this is good or bad. maybe its on purpose to give it some leeway to not break, or maybe this is a flaw and it might snap easier leaving the thing useless i dont know. its extremely light says compatable with window 7,8,10. but i think if i make it fat32 then i should be able to use it on xp
