What’s to say about an external hard drive? Bought it for my new Mac so I can set it up for Mac/pc use. Works well!

This is a great external hard drive, compact and easy to use, it's so havet to use as you back your computer up.

Good Portable HDD has plenty of storage space for saving and backing up files at USB 3.0 speeds Not as fast as an SSD drive but still does the job.

I cannot stress enough the importance of backing up your data. Easy to plug it in and start using it for manual file transfer. You can also use the software that comes with it for automated backups

The size of the actual device as well as the memory size for the cost is great. However, after about 3 months of use it choked up and wouldn't work.

Bought an All-in One with limited internal memory. We have the computer set to save to this device as default. So far works great!

The power supply on my old laptop no longer functioned, so I had to get a new laptop. But, I needed to pull all the document and data files from my old machine. With the help of a computer service, they took apart my old machine to get data and documents off the hard drive. The WD - My Passport was the perfect vehicle to store all my old data. Now I can move whatever I need to my new machine, and continue to store my older data on the Passport. Perfect solution to storage needs.
