Great Mac TimeMachine Device

I have a pair and they work well as a Mac TimeMachine backup target that I alternate. I also have a second pair that I use as my photo library primary and duplicate backup. Over the years I have been very satisfied with Western Digital products.

This works really well and the games still load pretty quickly compared to last gen.

I can easily transfer files to or from my desktop computer. Large files can still be transferred, but that takes more time.

Small and mighty efficient backup solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this to backup an old failing system so the data would be transferred to a new system. The setup was super simple with the software installed and then updated automatically from the Internet. Once setup was complete, backup was a breeze and took little time at all. On the new system, the data transfer took less time since we already had the software installed due to using the same Western Digital software for its own Raid 1 external backup.
