    This HDD was very easy to install and provided flawless daily backups and occasional restores for my laptop. HDD failed after about 20 months.

    I bought this external drive to replace the WD external I've had for a decade. I trust the brand. However it seems that the software slows my laptop down a bit, and im still trying to figure out a way around that.

    So far, so good. Set up is quick, although may not be completely straight forward. Having a hard time restoring things on my new laptop, but not hard to find the files and just copy and paste directly to new folders.
