    I bought this in-store and went home to back up precious videos and photos. Out of the box it connected immediately and I was able to move my collection from 3 other sources right away with no lag or errors. Works for me, but I am not super demanding. I can access it any time and have no problems with video playback.

    This worked great for me, I didn't have too much data on an old computer I had so I bought this to use to transfer data to my new computer. Was surprised how fast it was to move, copy and put on my new computer. A lot of this is probably because of the advances in the computer itself.

    I dropped mine on a tile floor the other day and it split open in three pieces. The drive and the 2 plastic covers. I thought I'd lost hundreds of photoshop files. Believe it or not the case just snapped back together and works like a charm. What's better than a WD Passport? I have four of them now.
