This was a gift for my Nephew; he's getting a PS5. With how much space games take up now, I wanted to ensure he had enough room to play what he wanted.

I've used this portavle back up and so far is working good, very easy to use, connect and program the back up from my laptop. I took me a few minutes to get everything set up and running, now when I need to back up my files I just plug in the device and work seamlessly.

Purchased to add an external hard drive to my daughters NVIDIA Shield TV. Provides ample storage and speed to run retro games and act as a PLEX server. Drive is fast enough to allow two people to stream the same movie file both local and remote shared.

Great and reliable, definitely a good choice for anyone looking for a portable drive in case they need to keep any valuable files on hand.

I had used this for about 10 months for my laptop. It gave me pretty fair write and read speeds, didn't corrupt any data. But, it gave out after being connected to a brand new PC. And I couldn't find a way to retrieve any of the data. Not sure if the device switch killed it, but it was alright while it lasted.

This device was very easy to install and get a backup.

Good product for the better price. Though SSD is better. For once in a while use this is the product to choose

Needed something to hold pictures when our phones filled up, rather than paying for a service like iCloud or Dropbox. So far so good. It’s worked on every computer I’ve connected it to.

I had a need to exchange a large number of files with a friend so thought I would allow the exchange through this device. It comes with imbedded software so doesn’t require any formatting prior to first usage. It functioned as expected and files were successfully exchanged.

This external hard drive is very easy to use and is a nice size for transporting.

I bought this for additional storage for my Xbox one. It does its job well enough, but it was generating an intermittent, high-pitched whine that was audible over my gaming headset at times. I ultimately decided to go with an SSD for quieter and faster performance, but would still recommend this product for those who don't want to shell out the extra $ for an SSD.

Excellent drive to replace my 3 year old back up drive. It's less than the cost of the last one due to advancing technology. It's also much slimmer and quieter. It will never match my WD SSD External Drive but for the price it is an excellent drive.

So far, so good. It does what you would expect. Good storage solution.

Bought this to use as a backup for photos off digital camera. It took a little bit of work to be seen by my laptop but once connected it works great. Was able to get photos backed up easily and quickly. Does exactly what an external HDD should do.
