I like buying the passport external hard drive because it's easy to use and disconnect to take with me or to store In a safe place.

The external hard drive was easy to set up and use. It has been an asset to my business and home needs.

Affordable and small design. I gave it 4 stars because the first one I bought did not work (according to geek squad after a hard drive transfer). The replaced one worked fine.

I have several of this model disk by Western Digital and they all have been very reliable, fairly quick using USB3 and a MacBook, and a good value for the money. I have a pair and they work well as a Mac TimeMachine backup target that I alternate. I also have a second pair that I use as my photo library primary and duplicate backup. Over the years I have been very satisfied with Western Digital products.

Bought this to transfer contents of 2 computers to new ones. This drive worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this drive.

The pretty color, slim design, and quick function of this external hard drive make it the perfect item for me. At 2TB, it holds tons and tons of pictures from my DSLR camera and I'm not concerned about running out of space. Would definitely purchase again in the future.

We bought this to backup an old failing system so the data would be transferred to a new system. The setup was super simple with the software installed and then updated automatically from the Internet. Once setup was complete, backup was a breeze and took little time at all. On the new system, the data transfer took less time since we already had the software installed due to using the same Western Digital software for its own Raid 1 external backup.
