This external hard drive was really super easy to install and use. My son needed it to get additional storage capacity for this HP laptop. I gave it to him and he installed it and was using it within 10 minutes! I highly recommend this hard drive!

I really like the small size of this memory device. It is also very fast. I backup my entire All-in one computer on it. Western Digital is a brand I have trusted for many years.

Good for an external backup of my desktop files. Has a lot of options and feature that were initially overwhelming for a non-IT expert. Wish it had better, more simple instructions on how to set up routine automatic backups. But, after watching some YouTube videos its was fairly easy to figure out; and once initially done it is fairly straightforward after that.

This little thing is great! I needed it to temporarily hold about 1TB worth of files that my laptop could no longer hold and everything is went smoothly. The set up was easy and using it was very simple. It did tend to get very warm with prolonged use but other than that there were no issues.

Very compact and fast data. I use it to store hi-res video and there is zero lag or pixelation on playback. Excellent and great price. Silent and efficient. Excellent for backup storage and data recall.

Bought to use with our PS4. Works great. Cheaper than the PS external hard drive and does exactly what I need to save PS4 data. I would recommend to others and buy again in the future. Thanks for the recommendation when at the store.

I purchased this WD - My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive because my new desktop PC has a solid state has "only 256 GB" of storage. I LOVE this solid state external hard drive! It is very small and portable and has 2 TB of space!!!!

I need a large but fairly compact storage drive to tuck away items that I wouldn't be accessing quite frequently. I saw this one on sale and picked it up. So far it has been great. I'm using it with my Mac Mini and other than noticing that it takes a little bit to pop up, it has worked without issue. I'd recommend it if you catch it on a good sale!

Needed a portable device to store photos from the iphone and this was the perfect size and was priced right. was very easy to use, just plug into the USB and was good to go.

It's big and reasonably priced. I was initially disappointed that Western Digital no longer adds its "passport" interface. This product uses Windows File History features directly. However it works.

Great value for the money, and easy to use. I have purchased this brand several times, for other family members. Having an extra copy of important files is necessary, but you don't want it to be a technological nightmare. This is a dream.

I needed to replace my previous external hard drive. It was easy to set up and move my data. It's light weight so it's easy to take anywhere or store when I'm out of town. It come with security options I haven't had a chance to use yet.

Very good external hard drive. Good performance, nice security features. My one complaint is that it gets warm over long use. This doesn't seem to affect its performance, but I worry about how it might affect longevity. That aside, I've been very happy with this.

Best price available at most best buy locations for the amount of storage. Speed is fast enough for my needs.
