    So far this hard drive works great. I bought a dvr from Walmart and hooked this hard drive up to it and it works like a champ. Now we do not miss those TV shows when we go out. The playback does not skip or flutter an with 2 gigs we can store plenty of movies. Also there is no contract or service fee. Truly free TV viewing off the antenna whether we are home or not.

    I do a lot of video editing and after a while the accumulated files take A LOT of space, so having this external HD is great to store the stuff I don't want to delete but don't need immediately accessible on my computer's HD. I have various other WesternDigital external HDs and they have never let me down. :)
