It was on the slow side handling the "restore" (my reason for 4 stars) I needed to do with Carbonite. However it got the job done. It also had good independent reviews.

They had no problem setting them up and moving their data. They are starting college and needed more storage than that available on the small HD on Macs.

This model works great and is very easy to use. Simply plug and play. It can store millions of pictures or hold an entire backup.

I like the design. The lines add some extra grip. I usually just add movies/shows and just plug it into a tv and it's good to go. Plenty of space for so much stuff.
