I had filled up my old 350GB external drive, and was starting a new project, so I needed another. Obviously, at 2TB, it's not the biggest one out there, but it was big enough for my needs. I haven't set up the automatic backup stuff yet, but will soon.

This external drive lets me store all of my personal info including credit accounts, passwords, bill data, etc., and I can put it in my safe deposit box when I go on vacation. If someone breaks into my home, I know my info is protected.

I have several of these drives for various backup solutions, some for photos only, some for PC, and so on. Anytime I see them go on sale I buy one or two. It never hurts to have multiple back ups, something you learn from being in IT for over 10 years.

I love how fast it downloads games on the original Xbox 1. Very easy to use, simple to format, and it loads games up quickly with great graphics and no hick ups or frame rate drops love it. I will expand with one in the future with more memory.

If you are running into storage issues with your PS4. Literally just plug it in the USB slot and format it and there's an extra 2TB for under a hundred dollars. Note of advice put it somewhere where it won't get bumped.

We have 42 years plus worth of memories. Heading to our daughters house out of state, we decided to load EVERYTHING to this drive and take her all family memories. She can access any of her childhood memories or past family members pictures.

The WD 2TB is perfect for me since I work with large graphics files as a book illustrator. I can work at home, then take my work to my company workstation, or vice versa. It has a great transfer rate. The My Passport drive is what I always wanted.

I had absolutely no problem with this product I plugged it in and follow the prompts on the screen and that was it all my information was stored I was then able to store it on the new computer that I install I highly recommend this product

We needed an external hard drive to back up our desk top computer. This came highly recommended after reading numerous reviews. Worked perfectly after we got some bugs worked out with the help of our Best Buy technical support.

Inexpensive 2TB hard drive that serves the purpose. Not too keen on speeds, just wanted something to back all the fotos of the kids we have been taking over years.

We bought this external drive for my daughter who is a sophomore in college. She ran out of space on her laptop and needed more room so we got this and it has been great for storage for her school work and reports that she has done so far.

Upon purchasing and bringing the product home, I was able to easily just plug the thing into my Xbox and it was quickly formatted to store game data and all was good! Had it for a month with absolutely no problems so far!

So I am a document hog. I keep EVERYTHING on my computer and I save all my video editing on my laptop most of the time. I got this so that my laptop would stop slowing down on me and I literally put over 1,200 files on this hard drive. When I say it says I barely scratched the surface on how much memory I have left, I mean MY GOD!!!!! I thought I would fill that thing up with all the massive files and videos in my pc butttt no! I am so freaking grateful for this purchase. I also bought one for my mom (the creator of my digital hoarder ways!)

I like this little WD - My Passport external drive. It seems to be working fine. Haven't had any issues with it. It's small which is convenient but the cord to connect to the PC is very short so you can't place it just anywhere.

I bought this to store movies and other content to have with me on the go. Very reliable and structurally sound and I recommend it to anyone who wants to take large files with them or back up​ photos and documents.
