This external drive has a great amount of storage and transfer speeds when paired up with USB 3.0. However, it is quite difficult to edit content with large file sizes. (video, music, software - editing)

I needed something to last me for the summer at least and after buying a defective one from another retailer i decided to stick with this instead. Now u have more space for games and it works fast.

It backed up the files on my old computer just fine. Now I just need to figure out how to open those files on my new computer. I'm sure I just missed something when I put the files on my new computer

I'm not very good with new technology, but this external hard drive seems to be exactly what I need. It has enough space for me to save my pictures and anything else I feel like I need to save.

I just purchased a new PC and needed an easy way to transfer all of my old files to it. This fit the bill perfectly and now I am using it for a daily backup of my PC. Easy plug and play uise!

I have always had excellent results with WD hard drives and this one is no exception. Reliable and fast. I like the different color options so you can have a different drive color for different uses.

I've sued WD products before. They have never let me down. I buy one for every new client I work with. The WD drive is then the place where all the work for each client is stopped and shared.

This passport is awesome. It easily hooks up and will contain all of the data and information you wish to put on it. I transferred all of my photos and documents and it was incredibly simple. Also, it was quick!

Sometimes hard drives fail, but this one so far hasn't, and I've had it a long time. I'm happy with it. WD usually makes good, reliable products.

Use this for nightly backup of important documents on my desktop. Easy to use and gives you a bit of insurance so you don't have to worry about losing everything on your desktop should it crash.

Works great! Plug it in set up the software that it want (but don’t really need). Pas long as it’s plugged into a USB 3 port it will be fast. Small and compact for travel. I might buy another one!
