I purchased this to back up my iMac using Time Machine and to provide some external storage for large files. I had tried to hook this to a USB port on my NetGear wireless hub so it could function for all the computers in our home. I couldn't get it to work - which I think was a limitation of the hub/hub Mac OS. I'm no expert so someone with more technical acumen might be able to get that config to work. I'm able to tuck the unit in the back of the iMac out of the way so I forget it is even there. I have had no problems with it. I did not use any of the utilities that were loaded on the device when I bought it. I basically formatted it for the Mac after plugging it in and haven't touched it since.

very easy to use, just plug in and your phone will read it. copy and store information with any paas code. plenty of spase and easy to carry.

Bought this for my nephew he set it up in 30 seconds with no help. Great for XBOX One. No need to buy the XBOX brand that is double the price

I purchased the Western Digital 4TB external hard drive awhile ago and it was able to handle GTA 5 at near max graphic settings. I never play PC games on an external hard drive but was curious as to how it would perform. (NOTE:) Someone I know purchased the 2TB Western Digital external hard drive and I allowed him to add the purchase to my Best Buy Rewards Card. I trust Western Digital external hard drives of any storage size.

Great to store all information from computer. Always have been worried in losing documents and no be able to get back. Great product .

Using this for my photo library on a iMac to free up space. Working great and now my computer can run faster. And this looks good on the desk.

This hard drive is compact but holds so much data. It's the perfect size to carry around in your work bag without adding bulk or weight.

This is a must for your ps4 when you run out of space and don’t want to get rid of your old game progress. Very light and color is great.

My home computer is getting old and all of the old picture files stored on it are not replaceable. So, I researched backup storage devices and am quite pleased with this one. I have it set up to automatically back up the hard drive, and it does so without any action or thought on my part. I purchased the 2GB to backup my 1 GB hard drive which is probably overkill, but I plan to use this for many years to come and also to migrate all of those old files onto a new desktop computer sometime soon

Portable, Password protection with hardware encryption. It has enough space to hold photos, videos, and your docs. Great buy.

My son uses it for his Xbox One. Why spend extra money for the Xbox name, when the Passport is priced better and does the same thing.
