This one was bad right out of the package. Best buy was great of course and refunded. Got a different WD drive and that one does the job. Like I said, I usually dont have issues with their drives.

On first search it appear the data did not properly save. The online manual did not provide the information I needed to quickly resolve my issue of retrieving the data.

Don’t Buy!

I’ve only owned this since January 2019 and it already crashed on me. I lost EVERYTHING on it! I contacted The GEEK SQUAD and won’t help me to recover items without me having to pay thousands of dollars according to them.

Worst HD ever!

My PC quit recognizing it. It's a good thing I have all my data backed up on another external drive [not a WD]. Looks like I'll be using this for target practice down at the shooting range.

WD My Passport

One plus is the customer service tech support they have. Unfortunately they were unable to have this device back up properly. Maybe I got a defective one. Don’t know. Bought a Seagate Backup Ultra Touch and worked great right out of the box.
