Only turned it on when needed. Which, was maybe 4 times since April 2019. Turned it on today and it's beeping and I can't access anything. It was always stored and not able to fall, so this is simply system failure.

This drive failed after 6 months. Best Buy wanted over $400 to retrieve the data as did WD. Absolute ripoff and poor quality. Would never buy again.
