I purchased this for someone new starting soon. I've honestly read a lot of mixed reviews over this style of Hard Drive, but for back-up purposes for individual work documents it's fine. Personally if I purchased something Hard Drive wise, I would opt for Toshiba or the other style of this Passport drive. I've had a little 2 TB for over 6 years holding strong, but this new style was on sale and works for the employee I purchased it for. I gave it 4 stars based on how we'll use it and the price point, but it's definitely not the best out there anymore.
