Good storage solution for large volume of data for cheaper price.

Bought this for my son to use as extra space for his new laptop. So far it is working great.

Works well. I used it for photos with a Mac at class and a pc at home. I had no issues.

Great drive, although the usb cable is way too short. As with any HDD, don’t move it too much when it’s powered on. It’s in your best interest to purchase a padded carry case and treat the drive like its glass. Most failures are do to rough treatment.

Bought this hard drive to use with the Tablo DVR. It works well for over the air recording.

I use this drive to backup 40 years of family pictures that is stored on a hard disk residing on my desktop computer. The drive is connected to my router for backups. All other times it is not powered up and running. So far the drive is serving me well.

This is a very hardy unit. I just throw it in my backpack and take it wherever I go. If I need to share research with a coworker I just zip it out and they can download or upload whatever is needed. It just works and you don’t have to baby it.

Memory works for me to put my business documents on it and keep the computer clean for processing. I have two external discs - one for work and one for personal. This one will hold several years of real estate transactions for my business.

Bought unit to back up files before upgrading. Not the quickest way to back up, but one that I can rely upon. I have much a couple of older western digital passports and they have proved valuable in retrieving old data after upgrade.

Does the Job. All it need is a care on pouch. Fully compatible with Mac OS X Mojave.

Used this WD Passport 2TB External drive as a backup drive for files. It is fairly quick and easy to manage the backup. I've had no issues with WD external drives in the past and recommend getting these for use at your home or business.

The external hard drive has lots of space for storage of photos and more. Great value!
