I needed a mass stagger drive for data back up, and a friend recommended this drive. I was worried at first as things label Plug and Play never seem to work correctly. This one did. This is the most convenient, simple to use electronic device I've ever had!

This drive is easy to use out of the box. After installing the software you are good to set schedules and backup the files. The transfer rate is very quick saving a lot of time when you don't want to keep the drive plugged into your computer at all times.

Tremendous amount of memory and easy to use. I need nothing else for my vast files.

I got this so I could keep all my Xbox One games saved locally. It worked great. The Xbox 1 found it right away An asked if I wanted to format it. It has worked perfectly ever since. With some Xbox 1 games at over 100 gig alone this is almost a necessity now.

This portable hard drive from WD worked perfect for doing backups on several computers. I only buy WD, they last for ever, I have used another brand long ago, had 3 of them that failed in less than a year. From now on I will recommend and stick with WD.

I own several of the previous generation My Passport drives. This one benchmarks quicker than those, so pleased. Just hoping reliability isn't compromised. Nowadays I'm always hesitant of new designs for fear something has been cheapened up. So far, so good though.

This is the second drive I have purchased. ( I still have the other one, its just full) Great for backing up programs or digital downloads. I recommend not leaving it plugged in all the time and only do so when you do a back up. It should last for a long time!

The price of the 2TB is very reasonable. Also, the drive comes a 3 yrs warranty.

This external hard drive Works well. but doesn’t back up my files on One Drive.

Perfect to keep all of my documents related to School. Would love with out it!

I purchased one of the several months ago for work. When my son was complaining about storage for his PS4, I went and got him one. What's the new update, external drives for storage on the PS4 or now plug-and-play. He loves it, and has no more storage issues.

It was on sale and it works great. I hope that the drive has a long lifespan.

I purchased the drive as a dedicated backup. Instructions were simple, system worked the first time. Backup was successful, security was straight forward. Additional apps required installation on a one off basis so the software installation was minimal.

The Passport 2TB is very easy to set-up and use. However, I gave it an average rating, primarily because of its weight and bulkiness.

In the process of putting my movie collection into digital format. I've got a few large (8TB) external HDs for main storage. I use these as back up / day to day use for specific genres (i.e. Drama, Comedy, Action / Adventure, etc.). Work great.

I work at home often, not making it to a company office as often as I should, so like to know my data is stored safely and where I can get to it without problems if something were to happen to my laptop while traveling. The WD Passport Series works great.
